Our Founder
Onee Maroadi brings a rare blend of public service, strategic leadership, and lived experience to Shout.
Her career spans service in the defense establishment as an intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance pilot. She also held roles as a strategist and diplomat. Across these fields, Onee has been deeply engaged in protecting lives, shaping systems, and advancing long-term solutions to complex challenges.
At a pivotal moment when she was ready to grow her family, Onee faced unexpected and life-altering health challenges, including pregnancy loss, infertility, and other serious medical diagnoses. These experiences profoundly reshaped her personal journey and led her to explore alternative pathways to family-building. Through this deeply personal process, she encountered the foster care system—an experience that would become transformative, inspiring the founding of Shout.
